If Heathers the Musical was on 25 years ago...

With all the Heathers buzz thats going around it got us thinking, if this show was on 25 years ago who would be in it? Well, that made our minds go crazy and we had to put our dream casting into an article for you! Make sure you tweet us your thoughts and ideas! @PocketSizeBlog

Veronica Sawyer | Lea Salonga or Linzi Hateley

Carrie Hope Fletcher plays the role in this West End production and does it ever so brilliantly! Instantly we thought of Lea Salonga and Linzi Hateley, both would sing the role incredibly and I'm sure would have played it just as well as Ms Fletcher.

Jason "J.D." Dean | Norman Bowman or Jason Donovan

The slightly crazy and misguided role is being played by Jamie Muscato in the shows London premiere, but after seeing Norman Bowman and Jason Donovan in countless shows over the years we're sure they would have been a perfect match back in the day!

REVIEW: Barnum at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking

Originally performed on Broadway in 1980 with Jim Dale and Glenn Close, the current touring production of Barnum comes from Cameron Mackintosh and the Chichester Festival Theatre. This production was revived in 2013 and is now touring through till August 2015.

Barnum is a bizzare musical, I couldn’t really tell what was going on through out the story as nothing seemed to have any flow to it. Things were popping up here, there and everywhere so I lost track of what was going on. And the wife's death scene? Very confusing! The ensemble numbers, however, were stunning, especially for a touring production! I’m very impressed with how they pulled off this scale production in this kind of theatre, I’ve never seen musical numbers like it on the touring circuit.

15 of the most Memorable performances I've ever seen

I was looking through a bunch of my old programmes and it got me thinking about some of the fantastic performances I have seen over my years of going to the theatre. So I've put together a list of some of my most favourite and most memorable performances I've had the pleasure of watching.

So, in no particular order...

Oliver Thornton as Adam (Felicia) in Priscilla Queen of the Desert

Katherine Kingsley as Lina Lamont in Singin' in the Rain
