Pinot Productions presents 'I Love You Because’ for limited run

I Love You Because is a modern twist on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, set in New York City. A young, uptight greetings card writer’s life is changed when he meets a flighty photographer. Along with their eccentric friends and siblings, they learn to love each other not in spite of their faults, but because of them.

Pinot Productions was established by Saratha Rajeswaran and Sarah Burrell in 2012 to bring under-performed, drama-led musical theatre to the London Fringe.

I Love You Because is directed by Dom O’Hanlon, with musical direction by Sarah Burrell. Casting is by Adam Braham. Music by Joshua Salzman, Lyrics by Ryan Cunningham, Orchestrations by Larry Hochman.

The cast includes Holly Julier as Macy Fizwilliams, Annie Kirkman as Diana Bingley, Amber-Rose Summers as New York Woman, Josh Little as Austin Bennett, John Kicks as Jeff Bennett and Liam Christopher-Lloyd as New York Man.

Saratha Rajeswaran for Pinot Productions said:

“We are delighted to be bringing back to London Salzman and Cunningham’s charming musical about the “rules” for finding love in New York. We are sure that this feel-good love story will be the perfect set-up to your Valentine’s Day 2014.”

The show will be at the Theatro Technis from the 4th till the 8th February 2014.
